Margot van Doorne
AM Rising Star Ranch was established in 2008 in Hernen (Gelderland). Before that, the ranch was located in Brabant, where I worked with Quarter Horses on a smaller scale for 12 years, first at a riding school and later at my own location.
My love for horses began in 1975 in Eindhoven, where I started riding ponies. When I was 13, I got my first pony and later moved on to horses. Still, I missed the versatility and relaxed riding style of ponies. That feeling ultimately led me to buy my first Quarter Horse. The natural way of training and working with these horses immediately appealed to me and became the perfect way to pursue my passion.
Berend Erbrink
Beyond being married to Margot, Berend is truly the backbone of the team. He manages the ranch together with Bjorn Schriever and regularly travels to shows with Aniek Hagelaars and Margot van Doorne to support the team in every way possible. As general manager, he makes sure everyone has the tools and support they need to succeed.

Aniek Hagelaars
Alongside her role as one of our international riders, Aniek is also an all-round team member. She oversees all freight transport and, with her broad network of contacts, plays an important role within the management team. Aniek travels to every show to support the team in all aspects and to compete at the highest level herself. She also acts as our unofficial sales manager. Thanks to her extensive experience and knowledge of the equestrian and reining world, Aniek has grown into an indispensable part of the organization.
Björn Schriever
Bjorn is a general ranch worker and a true all-rounder. In addition to caring for the horses, he is responsible for maintaining the ranch and handling a wide range of practical tasks. In consultation with Berend, Bjorn also manages all contact with suppliers. His reliability and dedication ensure that everything continues to run smoothly, allowing us to attend shows with complete peace of mind.
